About

A New Show, but same spot!

After running the Antique Barn for many years, owners Missy and Allen decided to start a one-of-a-kind annual market where shoppers could find items they couldn’t find anywhere elsewhere. They started Junkfest in 2007 as a vintage market hosting dozens of incredible vendors, bringing a more unique experience to the Bozeman area. In 2016, My Sisters’ Salvage was selected to be a vendor at Junkfest. Soon after, they became a regular supplier at the Antique Barn, and a close friendship started between Missy, Allen and the owner of My Sisters’ Salvage, Cheryl.

In 2022, Missy and Allen decided not to continue their annual show, but didn’t want to end the experience. In the fall of 2022 Cheryl approached Missy and Allen and asked if she could pick up where they were leaving off. Having watched the successful management, comradery and growth coming from My Sisters’ Salvage and knowing Cheryl’s passion for vintage and repurposed shows, Missy and Allen decided to pass the mantle to Cheryl and continue the show under a new name.

With the backing and continued support of Missy and Allen, Cheryl started The Vintage Artisan Market in May of 2023. Cheryl’s vision is to bring together artisan vendors, purveyors of vintage items, antique reclaimer and craftspeople for a truly one-of-a-kind shopping experience. Having participated as a vendor in over 130 events, Cheryl’s knowledge, experience and charisma are a driving force of The Vintage Artisan Market. Whether a vendor or shopper, you won’t want to miss this incredible experience!
